Reservation, Payment & Venue Policies

By booking a reservation, purchasing a table, or submitting payment through the ONYX Rooftop DC website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all policies outlined below. No exceptions will be made.


Reservations & Payments

  • All reservations and table bookings are final and non-refundable.

Refunds are not allowed under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • No-shows
  • Late arrivals
  • Guest count changes
  • Weather conditions
  • Event changes
  • Removal due to policy violations
  • A 10% tax and a 20% service fee will be automatically added to your final tab.
  • Any chargeback or payment dispute will be contested with supporting documentation, including this policy agreement and reservation records.


Chargebacks & Disputes

  • By completing your booking and checking the policy agreement box, you waive your right to dispute or reverse charges with your bank or card provider.
  • Any attempt to dispute a charge for services already reserved or rendered will be considered a violation of this agreement.
  • ONYX Rooftop DC reserves the right to ban future bookings from guests who initiate chargebacks.


Cleanliness & Sanitation Policy

To maintain a premium experience for all guests:

  • A $100 sanitation fee will be added to your tab if your table or seating area requires special or excessive cleanup, including but not limited to:
  • Spills
  • Vomit
  • Broken glass
  • Trash left behind
  • Damage to furniture or fixtures
  • Additional charges may apply for significant damage.


Dress Code Policy

ONYX Rooftop DC enforces a strict upscale dress code.

  • The following are NOT permitted:
  • Shorts
  • Cut-off sleeves
  • Plain white t-shirts or undershirts
  • Athletic wear (sweats, gym shorts, slides, etc.)
  • Excessively baggy, dirty, or unkempt attire


Dress to impress. Look clean, stylish, and well put together.

  • Management and door staff reserve the right to deny entry based on attire.
  • No refunds will be issued if entry is denied due to dress code violations.


Arrival & Seating

  • Reservation times are honored for a limited window.
  • Late arrivals may result in:
  • Reduced seating time
  • Loss of reservation
  • Reassignment of table
  • Guest count must match the reservation. Additional guests are not guaranteed entry or seating.


Conduct & Compliance

  • ONYX Rooftop DC reserves the right to remove any guest for:
  • Disorderly conduct
  • Policy violations
  • Safety concerns
  • Removal from the venue does not qualify for a refund.


Marketing & Communications Consent

By submitting your information, you agree to receive text messages and emails from ONYX Rooftop Lounge regarding:

  • Reservations
  • VIP packages
  • Events
  • Promotions
